Our Beginnings
Since Xtract Environmental Services was founded in 2019, we have served the Denver Metro area and the entire state of Colorado. Beginning with two founders, Cody Gordon and Mario Bustillos, Xtract rapidly expanded and we brought on a third partner, Justin Sutherland, about a year later. As a result of excellent customer service and teamwork, we have experienced a rapid yet stable growth.
With the first two offices located in Greeley and Grand Junction, we have recently opened a third location in the Denver Metro area. This area includes, but is not limited to, Denver, Aurora, Wheat Ridge, Broomfield, Boulder, Louisville, Commerce City, Brighton, Thornton, Lakewood, Golden, Centennial, Arvada, Parker, Englewood, and Castlerock.

How We Work
When you reach out to Xtract for help with mold, asbestos, lead, or meth remediation in the Denver Metro area, our office team will collect the details we need to understand your situation, answer your questions, and set up a free consultation.
After scheduling, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the appointment time along with any requests for supporting information or documents, such as an inspection or sampling report.
On the day of your consultation, our Project Manager will give you a quick call when they’re on the way. Upon arrival, they’ll provide their business card and walk you through our process step by step. We’ll take the time to explain what the work involves, where and how it will be completed, the associated costs, and address any concerns you may have.
Whatever you need cleaned up and no matter how big the job is, your peace of mind is always our top priority!
Scheduling & Finalizing Your Project
After you’ve had a chance to review your estimate and give us the go-ahead, we’ll schedule your project and send over the required documents. These will include the forms needed to obtain our work permits in Colorado, as well as your project authorization agreement.
Once the paperwork is signed, we’ll handle the permit submission process for you. Standard state processing takes roughly 11 business days, but in urgent cases, approval periods can be reduced to just a few days.
When the permit is approved and all details are in place, we’ll start work on the scheduled date. Your Project Manager will stay in close contact throughout the entire process, from kickoff to completion. At the end of the job, a licensed third-party inspector will perform both a visual inspection and air clearance test to confirm everything meets state standards.
After the site is fully cleaned, we’ll deliver your inspection report and final invoice within 48 hours of finishing the project.
